Meet The Henley Dental Team

Qualifying from Birmingham University in 1995 Sukhdave is known by his patients as Dave and is known for his gentle, friendly and relaxed manner. Dave has an enormous passion for dental excellence and has special interests in cosmetic dental treatments including composite bonding, orthodontic braces to straighten teeth, smile makeovers, teeth whitening and reconstruction.

Dr Dehal is passionate about private dentistry and keeping astride with modern techniques. Having a Diploma in Orthodontics and completing his Masters with merit at the University of Warwick. He likes to use a wide variety of techniques developed in the UK and America. These resources allow him to provide patients with the beautiful smile they deserve. Dr Dehal is our very own in-house smile consultant, his attention to detail and strife for perfection always leaves our patients with the results even they didn’t think possible.

Outside of clinical dentistry and his studies, you will find Dave mentoring numerous young dentists and he is presently working with NHS England on the clinical entrepreneur programme.

Dr Bhadhar is known to his patients as Bhads and has been a clinician here with us at Henley Dental for over 10 years. Since graduating Bhadhar has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience through working and attending courses. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a keen eye for detail and has developed a particularly strong interest in cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry. Dr Bhadhar provides all aligner treatments such as Invisalign, Spark and other align systems as-well as Composite Bonding and Tooth Whitening.

Dr Bhadhar has vast experience in cosmetic treatments and is a certified provider of Invisalign. He is a keen, motivated and caring Dentist who makes his patients feel at ease. He puts the patient first and enjoys working with families and children. He also values the importance of personal development and continuous improvement and has further courses and qualifications he will be completing in the near future.

Dr Wilkinson qualified from Birmingham University in 1991. Jane is a valued clinician here at Henley Dental, qualifying from Birmingham University in 1991 and investing in NHS dentistry she has a wealth of experience within the NHS.

Making the decision to sell her practice in 2015 Jane joined Henley Dental in 2016 becoming an associate dentist with us. Jane has a very calming demeanour and enjoys working with nervous patients and children to achieve the best treatment outcome for her patients.

Dr Rachel Lal Qualified in 2018 from King’s College London. Moving back to the West Midlands in 2018 she became a general practitioner in one of our practices based in Halesowen. Rachel enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially white composite fillings, crowns and root canals. Rachel has a passion for focusing on prevention and minimally invasive dentistry. This has led her to do local sessions for her community on topics such as oral hygiene techniques.

Her main passion is facial aesthetics, having trained with the world-renowned Professor Bob Khanna to be able to give safe and reliable results for her patients. Rachel offers a range of wrinkle treatments, advanced fillers, skin rejuvenation, skin treatments for pigmentation and acne, medical-grade skincare, treatments for teeth grinding/migraines and fat-dissolving treatments. Rachel is so calm and compassionate that she will sit with you and take on board all your questions and concerns and be sure to put you at ease.

Growing up in West Yorkshire Sarah moved to study at the University of Birmingham, where she graduated in 2020.

After completing her foundation training in a busy mixed practice in Derbyshire, she made the decided to make the move back to Birmingham.

Sarah enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and treating patients of all ages. Having suffered with dental anxiety herself, she feels she can empathise and understand concerns patients may have when attending the dentist. She has a particular passion for treating nervous patients, providing a calm and relaxed atmosphere with a friendly manner to try and overcome any fears they have. With the above statement Sarah naturally gravitated towards sedation and Qualified as a sedation dentist in 2023.

Sarah is our on-site sedation dentist, for all of our anxious/nervous patients that attend the practice.

Ashish known by us as Ash Graduated in 2007 from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India.

He started his career with a unique job – working aboard a luxury cruise ship as a cosmetic dentist! After visiting more than 45 countries, he decided to quit his jet set lifestyle and move to the UK to grow in clinical dentistry.

He has trained in implant dentistry, including bone grafting and sinus lift procedures. Ash is a member of the ITI and regularly attends lectures and conferences on all aspects of implantology to maintain his knowledge in this field. Ash completes a full examination of the mouth in combination with CBCT (3D X-rays) to achieve precise planning for implant placement and the use of 3D printed surgical guides during implant surgery.

Very experienced in Oral Surgery, Implantology and Aesthetic dentistry in combination with CAD CAM, full digital workflow.

Ash believes that learning is a never-ending process and has meritoriously completed his Master’s degree in Implantology from the renowned University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

Due to his diverse career journey, he was aptly chosen as a finalist for the Best Young Dentist in the year, with a gentle surgical hand and a keen aesthetic sense, Ash strives to provide dental implants and cosmetic dental treatments to all his patients.

Simi is a passionate dentist and strives to take a gentle and calm approach to all aspects of dental care. She graduated from The University of Sheffield in 2020 and am a proud member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS).

She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic smile enhancement—including teeth straightening and composite bonding. She is dedicated to creating tailored treatment plans that reflect each patient’s individual goals.

Her commitment to excellence has been recognised through nominations as a Finalist for Best Young Dentist at the Dentistry Awards in both 2021 and 2023.

In addition to dentistry, she is also a Facial Aesthetics provider, offering treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and dermaplaning to help you feel confident and refreshed.

James is a friendly, caring dentist who is passionate about helping patients feel relaxed, informed and confident throughout their dental visits.

He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2022 and completed his foundation training year in a busy mixed dental practice in Coventry, where he built a strong grounding across all areas of general dentistry.

Following this, James undertook two years of Dental Core Training in Liverpool, working in hospital settings and gaining extensive experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Restorative Dentistry. He is also a proud Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS).

James enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with particular interests in complex extractions, dentures and the management of gum disease. He is known for his calm, approachable manner and always takes the time to listen to his patients, clearly explain treatment options and provide personalised care tailored to each individual’s needs.

Qualifying in 2007 under the NEBDN Sarah has been a qualified nurse for nearly 20 years. Having done dual roles as both nurse and receptionist she has a wealth of knowledge across the board. Sarah has worked at Henley Dental for over 10 years. During the pandemic, she enrolled on a business management degree and took the natural steps to become our practice manager here at Henley Dental in 2019.

She led the development of our new practice in the heart of Henley In Arden. She is always on hand to support her team and patients alike. Patient care and satisfaction is her priority and she is always on hand should you need her. Sarah is also one of our onsite qualified first aiders and safeguarding lead.

Alicja is our Head Nurse & Implant nurse. Alicja joined Henley Dental in January 2021, qualifying in 2017 and moving from London Alicja naturally progressed into the Head nurse position with us. Being a strong member she has continued to develop herself and is set to complete her Radiography qualification this year.

Alicja is our dedicated Implant nurse who supports both our patients and implantologist and you couldn’t be in better hands than hers. She is continuing to develop herself and is looking to expand her skills in becoming our treatment coordinator, a role that couldn’t be more fitting for her. Alicja is also one of our onsite first aiders.

Haleemah qualified as a dental therapist in 2017 from the University of Sheffield. Shortly after qualifying, she volunteered abroad, teaching in health clinics and schools.

Upon her return, Haleemah began her professional career as a dental therapist across several practices, where she honed her skills and consistently provided a high standard of dentistry.

Haleemah is known for her approachable and friendly demeanor. Her gentle, patient-centred approach has been particularly appreciated by those who are anxious or nervous, helping them achieve excellent oral health and boosting their confidence to love their smile.

Olivia qualified as a Dental Therapist from the University of Birmingham with a Distinction in Clinical Practice in 2018.

She enjoys utilising her full scope of practice to help patients feel happy and confident with their smile. In particular, treating nervous adults and children with her kind and relaxed approach.

Olivia regularly attends courses to continue to develop her knowledge and provide her patients with the best up to date treatments.

Sas is a dedicated Dental Hygienist and Therapist, proudly holding a qualification from the prestigious University of Birmingham.

With a passion for promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care, Sas brings a wealth of knowledge, advice and a gentle touch to every appointment.

Emma graduated with honours as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from the University of Birmingham in 2024. Her passion for dentistry began over a decade ago during her time as a dental nurse, and it has continued to grow ever since.

She is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health through personalised care, prevention, and education. Her aim is to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where every patient feels supported and at ease throughout their dental journey.

Qualifying in 2017 Josie is a long-standing member of the team. Josie has been with us for over 8 years and in the last 18 months, she has continued her professional development and completed additional courses to become our decontamination leader.

Josie takes so much pride in this role so rest assured you are in very safe hands. Josie is also one of our onsite qualified First Aiders.

Chloe is an Invisalign Nurse who joined us in September 2019. Training through the Covid pandemic really gave her a different insight and perspective on the dental nursing world. The course gave Chloe a different outlook on how the new world of dentistry had taken over and how we all needed to adapt rapidly overnight. Chloe qualified with flying colours in 2022.

Having worked alongside Dr Rama for most of her training it was a natural step for Chloe to become the Invisalign nurse here at Henley Dental to support our Invisalign provider Dr Rama. She is looking to develop her skills and achieve a qualification in Oral Health education over the coming months enabling her to go into the community delivering advice and support to the younger generation. Chloe is also one of our onsite First Aiders.

Hannah qualified in 2012 and joined Henley Dental in 2021. She has continued to develop herself in different fields and has completed courses on Sedation, Fluoride application and vitamin B12 injections.

Hannah is keen to keep progressing and is looking to complete her radiography qualification in the coming months. She is one of our onsite First Aiders.

Completing college with a Health & Social Qualification Hollie has always had keen interest in Dentistry. Joining our team in June 2021 Hollie qualified in August 2023.

She is eager to achieve her Radiography qualification and is on course to undertake her Orthodontic nursing and Implant Qualification. You will find Hollie supporting our in house Orthodontist and Implantologist.

Deciding on a career change Jess joined us in September 2021.
Qualifying in August 2023 Jess was keen to undertake another course and completed her Infection Control course in October 2023.

Jess works full-time alongside our clinicians, and is decon lead alongside Josie. Together they are an incredible duo and you couldn’t be in safer hands.

Sarah joined us recently in Winter of 2023. Sarah has nursed for over 15 years, taking a career break to have the children she returned to work and sat her exam, qualifying in 2017.

Sarah is a very calm character and she works very well with patients who are nervous or feeling anxious in the practice. She is looking to sit additional courses this year to develop her skill set and to have a more hands-on role wihin the practice.

Ellie is our enthusiastic trainee dental nurse who has quickly became a valued member of our team.

With a keen interest in patient care she is progressing extremely well in her training.

We are excited to support her in growing and progressing into a fully qualified Dental Nurse.

Rob is a dependable and dedicated in-house care taker and maintenance professional at our dental practice, where he plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and hygienic environment for both patients and staff. With a strong eye for detail and a commitment to high standards, Rob ensures that every corner of the practice—from the waiting area to treatment rooms—is immaculate and fully operational.

Bringing several years of experience Rob understands the importance of strict hygiene protocols and infection control. He works closely with the dental team to ensure the practice can run smoothly. Rob manages routine maintenance, supports equipment upkeep, and is always ready to troubleshoot minor repairs to keep the practice running smoothly.

His proactive approach and dependable presence make him an essential member of the team behind the scenes.

Nicola originally started out as a nurse and has over 20 years of experience, deciding her strengths lay within a patient-facing role she became a dental receptionist in 2009. Nicola joined our team in 2021, you will always find her on reception or busy in the back office.

Nicola strives for perfection and should you have any queries or questions she will be on hand to assist you in any way possible. Nicola is our Orthodontic lead, should you ever need any help or advice she will be available to assist you in any way possible.

Tarryn also known to us as Tay joined us in June 2022. Having first tried dental nursing she felt being chairside wasn’t destined for her.

Loving the dental world and wanting to maintain a presence within it she naturally gravitated towards reception and enjoys being in an administrative role. Tarryn is our Invisalign and Implant lead and should you need any advice or help is always on hand to assist you.
